01 — School Identity

Who We Are

Established in 1985, Bishop Alexander Muge Girls Senior School is a government-aided girls' boarding school in Kenya. Named in honour of the late Rt. Rev. Alexander Kipsang Muge, Bishop of Eldoret Diocese, the school continues its tradition of scholarship, discipline, leadership, and service as it transitions from the 8-4-4 secondary model to CBC Senior School.

We develop young women who are not only academically prepared but morally grounded, professionally ambitious, and equipped to contribute meaningfully to Kenyan society and beyond.

At Bishop Alexander Muge Girls, school life is rich with opportunity. Students participate in clubs, sports, competitions, leadership programmes, and community initiatives that shape their character as much as their studies do.

From the debate podium to the athletics track, every activity is an opportunity to discover strengths, build friendships, and develop the confidence that lasts a lifetime.
